Rose Simbizi, RN, is an Outstanding Registered Nurse with Wintonbury Care Center LLC/ Touchpoints at Bloomfield in Connecticut

Rose Simbizi, RN, is a well-versed registered nurse who diagnoses and treats patients as RN Nurse Manager at St. Mary Home in west Hartford, Connecticut, and as Assistant Director of Nurses at Wintonbury Care Center LLC/ Touchpoints at Bloomfield in Bloomfield, Connecticut. Rose assists the Doctor of Nursing Science by keeping her informed about the happenings daily to insure smooth function. She has an impressive professional journey spanning eleven years and her areas of expertise cover post-acute care, dementia care, and long term care. Furthermore, she has staff memberships at several local hospitals, including Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center in Hartford, Connecticut. For Rose, nursing is a legacy from her mom who was a traditional midwife and her dad who worked as a physician assistant. Their family motto was people first and she grew up with 7 siblings. Her dad had also housed more than 10 other children from thousands of miles away because they were in school. Rose is motivated at the start of each day by remembering that there is always someone out there who needs her help to put back a smile on their face. She spends most of the time listening to the patient to get to know them and, once she knows where they are coming from, she can put a smile back on their face. She always spends time teaching the patients to look at life differently by living one day at a time and live every day like there is no tomorrow.
